Kuvuma Snake and Reptile Removal

Black Mamba (Dendroaspis polylepis)

Kuvuma Snake and Reptile Removal is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to safely removing problem snakes and reptiles from residential and business sites in the greater Gauteng area.

Snakes form a vital component of our ecosystem, and are especially valuable in controlling rodent populations.  The senseless killing of snakes by (often petrified) people is both damaging to the environment, as well as dangerous to those individuals.

There are safe alternatives.

Our network of experienced professionals uses safe and effective methods to remove snakes and reptiles from business and residential sites, all while ensuring the safety of your family, property and animals.

You’ve spotted a snake – what should you do?

There are 3 steps to ensure your safety, the safety of the animal, and the safety of those around you:

Take 3 steps backwards! This also applies to anyone else close by (including pets!). Do not try and handle the animal

Try and take note of the size and colours (a photo is even better) of the animal

Call someone, like us, for assistance

You are likely to be asked questions like:

When last did you see the animal?  Where did you see it?  Can you still see it?  Are any people or animals close by?

The more details you can offer, the better the chances of a safe removal and relocation.
